KLS, founded by eminent lawyers of Karnataka in 1939, have been rendering yeomen service in the sphere of professional education in north Karnataka. It has the distinction of running colleges in various fields – Law, commerce, Engineering and management education. All its institutions are among lead institutions in Karnataka. The sterling efforts by dedicated lawyers and a galaxy of dynamic educationists have created a platform for educational reform in this part of the country.
IMER has been rated A++ by business India-2010; one of the top 100 B-schools in India by Dalal Street Finance Journal in 2011; and ranked 9th best B-School in Karnataka and 37th in South India in 2010 by New Indian Express in their survey on South India, B-schools.
