III-Cell acts as an interface

concurrent projects to summer
training to final placement, the
III-Cell assists students actively.
Entrepreneurship Development Cell
Encouraging the entrepreneurial
spirit, IMER has signed up with
Entrepreneurship Development
Institute of India, Ahmedabad
(Gujarat) as its nodal centre for
one-year Open Learning Diploma
in Business Entrepreneurship. The
cell also organizes week-long EDPs
on setting up Small
Business Enterprises.
Centre for Financial Excellence
IMER focuses on tangible research
and consultancy in the discipline of
finance, cost and
human resource for industries.
Training and development, joint
research with industrialists,
development and implementation of
financial software and publication
of live case studies and
books – everything to ensure that
IMER students maintain an ongoing
connect.
IMER – BIC Society Linkage
The initiatives of BIC (BPO, ITes
and CRM) Society are aimed at making
North Karnataka a service
hub. IMER supports these initiatives
wholeheartedly, knowing that such
initiatives create more
employment opportunities and have
great positive impact on the
regional economy.
Exchange and Co-operation MoU
IMER has signed a Memorandum of
Understanding with the Department of
Commerce and
Management, Shivaji University,
Kolhapur in the interest of greater
visibility and exposure. This
MoU covers teachers’ and students’
exchange program, joint research,
consultancy, workshops
and seminars.
Alumni Networking
IMER Manthan is an alumni directory
with a two-fold objective - exposure
to IMER pass-outs
as well as forging a bond, creating
networking opportunities between the
alumni and existing
students. IMER alumni have been
ambassadors of the institute,
contributing to its growth.
Counselling
IMER faculty is committed to
providing an environment that is
accepting and respectful of
cultural diversity and individual
differences. They also help
outstation students adjust to living
in Belgaum.
