Library
IMER Library is an invaluable resource for students, researchers and faculty of business and management. The library has over 15000 books (4100 titles) and a rich collection of more than 170 current subscriptions to serial publications (which includes journals and magazines) and news papers, and many other resources like Ph.D. theses, Students’ project reports, CDs, DVDs, etc. on various management related topics.
The library is spread over 370 Square Meters, which provides access to the best of the breed business and management related digital resources through its subscription to various databases including EBSCO, Capitaline, Prowess consist of scholarly and industry relevant content.
These online databases provide access to vast collection of online full text/abstracts of research articles published in journals of national & international repute and information on Indian Companies and Industries. The functions and services of the library are fully automated.
State of the art: Infrastructure
The library building has a sprawling space having designated areas for different sections of the library like reading room, digital library, Audio Visual section, etc. which creates a conducive learning environment.
One separate PC is provided in the library to facilitate access to information through OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog). Library is equipped with DVD, VCR, Scanner, and Laser and Inkjet Printers.
Library is using Easylib i.e. library management software for automating various functions in the Library like book procurement, circulation, etc. Virtual library provides web enabled online public Access Catalogue (OPAC). Library is equipped with Bar Code technology for management of reading materials.
