An Alumni Interaction Session was conducted by Mr. Anil Kulkarni, Chief Operating Officer, Infra Market- Concrete Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai from 1994-96 batch on 22 nd November 2025 at KLS IMER.

Mr. Anil Kulkarni delivered an inspiring session for the students through his personal journey where he spoke on various business functions like sales, operations, technology, systems and leadership from his personal experiences. He explained the nuances of Cement and Ready Mixed Concrete (RMC) industry and described the various challenges that he faced during his journey from a sales executive in Goa to being the CEO and COO of a company and how he overcame those challenges through hard work, willingness to learn new things and business acumen.

He gave students very important and useful advice which are Learn about the business operations and understand your market and your competitors. Accept new challenges and overcome adversity. Maintain good relationships with your colleagues, create a strong network. Get out of your comfort zone and don’t be risk averse. Develop the ability to think under pressure and learn from your experiences.
