SAMAGAM 2024 Valedictory function

Belagavi, 18 July 2024: The valedictory ceremony of Samagam 2024, organized by KLS Institute of Management Education and Research (KLS IMER), Belagavi, concluded on a high note on 16 July, marking the culmination of spirited competitions and cultural festivities. The event, held at the institute premises, witnessed enthusiastic participation from various colleges across Belgaum, Kolhapur, Athani, Chikodi, Huballi, Sankeshwar, and Bijapur.

Chief Guest for the occasion, Dr. Prakash Mugali, graced the ceremony with his inspiring words. On the occasion he emphasized the importance of such cultural and academic gatherings in nurturing talent and fostering a spirit of healthy competition among students. He lauded the efforts of KLS IMER in organizing an event of such magnitude, which not only promotes academic excellence but also encourages holistic development among the youth.

The event was also honored by the esteemed presence of Shri. R.S. Mutalik, Chairman of the Governing Council, and Dr. Arif Shaikh, Director of KLS IMER. Faculty members including Prof. Goutami Maganur, Prof. Atul Kadam, Dr. George Rodrigues, and Mr. Sunil Kulkarni.

The highlight of the evening was the felicitation of the winners and runners-up of Samagam 2024. Jain B.Com Degree College, Belagavi, emerged victorious, clinching the top position & cash prize worth Rs 21,000/. JSS College, Gokak, displayed commendable performance and secured the runner-up position.

SAMAGAM 2024

Belgaum, 15th July 2024: KLS Institute of Management Education and Research (KLS-IMER) successfully hosted the flagship event Samagam on 15th July, featuring Dr. Kamalakar L. Achrekar, a renowned Urologist from Belgaum, as the chief guest. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 18 teams hailing from Belgaum, Kolhapur, Athani, Chikodi, Huballi, Sankeshwar, and Bijapur.

Dr. Achrekar delivered an enlightening speech cantered around five key pillars essential for personal and professional growth, Adapting to Change: Emphasizing the importance of staying updated and adaptable in a rapidly changing world. Teamwork: Highlighting the power of collaboration and mutual support in achieving goals. Ethics & Integrity: Stressing the significance of maintaining high ethical standards and transparency. Customer Focus and Innovations: Encouraging innovation and excellence in meeting customer needs. Sustainability & Building Trust: Advocating for sustainable practices and the importance of building trust.

The event was well-received by students, faculty, and guests, providing valuable insights and inspiration. KLS-IMER expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Achrekar for his impactful contribution to the event.

The event was presided over by Chairman Shri R. S. Mutalik, who specifically praised Dr. Achrekar for providing such great managerial key takeaways despite his medical background. The welcome address was delivered by Director Dr. Arif Shaikh, who welcomed all participants and highlighted the significance of the Samagam event. He also acknowledged the efforts of the student coordinators and faculty coordinators, including Asst. Prof. Goutami, Asst. Prof. Atul R. Kadam, Dr. George R., and Mr. Sunil Kulkarni, for their dedication and professionalism in organizing the event.

SAMAGAM 2020

KLS IMER recently organized an innovative management fest for undergraduate students on 19th and 20th February 2020. 35 teams representing various colleges from Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra had registered for this event. The theme was "Unity in Diversity". The first year MBA students organized the event. Shri R.S.Mutalikdesai , Chairman , GC-KLS IMER and Dr. Atul Deshpande facilitated the conduct of Samagam 2020. Dr. Kirti Shivakumar, professor and head, student's events organized Samagam 2020 with the support of Dr. S. G. Chiniwar., Prof. Rahul Mailcontractor , Prof. Shreekanth Naik and Prof. Sumanth Desai..

The event had many interesting competitions, namely Samaarambh(Ice breaker), Sampoorna(Best Manager), Samavitta(Finance), Samagyan(Quiz), Samatantra(HR), Samshodh(Treasure Hunt), Samavismaya(Surprise), Samskruthi(cultural extravaganza), and Samachitra(Social Media).

Mrs. Shravani Pawar, national award winner for entrepreneurship, Founder and CEO of SafeHands , 24X7 , Hubli was the Chief Guest for the inaugural function. Shri. R.S. Mutalikdesai , Chairman , GC, KLS IMER declared Samagam 2020 open.

KLE CBALC, Belagavi, won the General Championship. Ms. Khushi Mehta from KLE CBALC won the Best Manager Round.

SAMAGAM 2019

KLS IMER had organized an innovative Fest for the undergraduates - an event for students, by students, aimed at encouraging the creativity, team work, and leadership skills of both the participants and organisers. The theme for the event was "JAAGO BHARAT". The first year MBA students organized the event. Dr. Kirti Shivakumar, professor and head, student's events organized Samagam 2019 with the support of Dr. S.G. Chiniwar.

The event had many interesting competitions- Samaarambh(Ice breaker), Sampoorna(Best Manager), Samayojana(Team Building), Samagyan(Quiz), Samajyojana(CSR), Samshodh(Treasure Hunt), Samanvaya(flagship round), Samarthya(cultural extravaganza), Samachitra and rounds in HR, finance and Marketing.

Every year we try to support an NGO by promoting their cause and raising funds for them through this event. This year we have partnered with Rajyalakshmi Childrens foundation. A total of Rupees 28,521/-, was collected during the fund raising event and the same was handed over during the valedictory.

Mr. Sharad Patil and Ms. Nandita Yenagi, Founding Team and CEOs of Adaptive Agritech Solutions were the chief guests for the inaugural function and declared Samagam 2019 open. Shri. Rajendra Belgaumkar, Chairman, KLS IMER, Belagavi presided over the function.

Dr. Shashidhar Kulgod was the Chief Guest for the valedictory function, while Shri. Rajendra Belgaumkar, Chairman, KLS IMER, Belagavi presided over the function.

CBALC won the General Championship. Mr. Kishan Kumar from KLE CBALC was declared as the Best Manager.

SAMAGAM 2018

KLS IMER had organized an innovative management fest for undergraduate students on 12th and 13th March, 2018. 33 colleges from Karnataka participated in this event. The theme was "Be Local, Think Global". The first year MBA students organized the event. Dr. Kirti Shivakumar, professor and head, student's events organized Samagam 2018 with the support of Dr. S.G. Chiniwar.

The event had many interesting competition Samaarambh(Ice breaker), Sampoorna(Best Manager), Samayojana(Team Building), Samagyan(Quiz), Samajyojana(CSR), Samshodh(Treasure Hunt), Samanvaya(flagship round), Samarthya(cultural extravaganza), Samuha(the Facebook Round), Samachitra(Photography).

Every year we try to support an NGO by promoting their cause and raising funds for them through this event. This year we have partnered with Prajwal Foundation. A total of Rupees 28521/-, which was collected during the fund raising event and was handed over during the valedictory.

Mr. Basavarj Umarani, also called the "The Visually Impaired Human Computer" and Mr. Siddhu Ittagi , national award winning teacher / artist were the Chief Guests, for the inaugural function and declared Samagam 2018 open. Shri. Rajendra Belgaumkar, Chairman, KLS IMER, Belagavi presided over the function.

Mr. Sachin Sabnis, MD, Belgaum Ferrocast was the Chief Guest for the valedictory function, while Shri. Rajendra Belgaumkar, Chairman, KLS IMER, Belagavi presided over the function.

KLE CBALC, Belagavi, won the General Championship & Mr. Abhishek Mutgekar from Trinity College won the Best Manager round.

SAMAGAM 2017

KLS IMER had organized an innovative management fest for undergraduate students on March 17th and 18th. 27 colleges from Karnataka participated in this event. The theme was TECH INDIA (Transform Energize Clean Healthy). The first year MBA students organized the event. Dr. Kirti Shivaumar, professor and head, students events organized Samagam 2017 with the support of Dr. Purushottam Bung.

The event had many interesting competition Samarasya (Ice breaker), Sampoorna (Best Manager), Samayojana (Team Building), Samagyan (Quiz), Samrujana (creativity), Samajyojana (CSR), Samrgayati(Treasure Hunt), Sananvaya (flagship round), Samarthya (cultural extravaganza), Samuha (the mannequin challenge), Samachitra (Photography).

Every year we try to support an NGO by promoting their cause and raising funds for them through this event. This year we have partnered with EKAL ABHIYAN and LEAD organization. A total of Rupees 36,261 which was collected during the fund raising event and was handed over during the valedictory. The Best Manager round was sponsored by Metro pickles.

Ms. Bhakti Sharma, swimmer of International repute and became the youngest to swim in all five ocean was the Chief guest, for the inaugural function and declared Samagam 2017 open. Shri. Rajendra Belgaumkar, Chairman, KLS IMER, Belagavi presided over the function.

Mr. Rahul Jadhav, Metro Pickles was the Chief Guest for the valedictory function, while Shri. Praveen Pujar was the Guest of Honor. Shri. Rajendra Belgaumkar, Chairman, KLS IMER, Belagavi presided over the function.

KLE CBALC, Belagavi, won the General Championship and R. L. Law College was the runners up. Mr. Sohail Karwar won the Best manager Round and Ms. Nabila Beerwala won the second place.
