TiE Hubli organised a motivational talk by Mr. Venky Iyer, Founder/CEO of Goli Vada Pav at KLS IMER, Belagavi, on 07-Mar-2018. More than 200 people consisting of TiE Members, Entrepreneurs, and Students attended the Talk.

Mr. Iyer said that brand names should be localized. For example, you cannot have Peter's idli or Sam's dosa. Brand names must be easy to relate. Hence the name Goli from relatable Mumbaia lingo. Marketing can happen many a times at zero cost if you use your imagination. A lot of experimentation is required from time to time. The talk was followed by a Q & A session.

TiE Hubli Charter Member (CM) Amit Kalkundri welcomed the gathering, while CM Venkatesh Patil presented a bouquet to Mr. Iyer, and CM Mahesh Bhirangi presented a memento.
