The Institute inaugurated a one week crash course at its premises in Belagavi for the students who wished to appear for the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2016 and Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2016.

The function began with welcome and introduction of Chief guest by Director, Dr. Purushottam Bung. He also informed the aspirants that appearing and getting a good score in PGCET or KMAT is a must for MBA admission eligibility. He informed the participants that during the crash course period they would also be allowed to make use of learning resources of IMER, including the library, computer lab, internet, as well as mentoring by the senior faculty of the institute which would help them in getting admission to their dream college.

Chief Guest Mr. Rajendra Belgaumkar briefed the participants about the relevance of MBA in the changing business scenario and various career options available after the completion of MBA course and advised the participants to make use of this opportunity.

More than 100 plus students from across the state underwent the crash course.
